We are highly excited to share that we had the incredible opportunity to design the poster for the highly anticipated Joy-Lopa Express event, held on 29th November 2024 at the prestigious GD Birla Sabhaghar, Kolkata. This collaboration with renowned singer Lopamudra Mitra and famous musician Joy Sarkar was an absolute honor, and we’re thrilled with the outcome. We were fortunate to receive the opportunity to design the poster for Joy-Lopa Express, organized by the incredibly talented Lopamudra Mitra and Joy Sarkar. Both artists bring a unique blend of talent, passion, and energy to every performance, and we wanted the poster to reflect that same level of excitement and artistry. The event promised an unforgettable experience, and our aim was to encapsulate that in a single image. This iconic project saw the fusion of design and event branding through a range of thoughtfully crafted visuals and assets. Let’s jump into the journey 10 years back and explore the nostalgic vibe. 30 years in music world: We have designed this poster where Lopamudra Mitra had celebrated 30 years in her singing life. We have designed this poster that way that would convey a key message in a concise way. Also by including dates, venues, and contact information, posters become a practical and effective way to share event information with your target audience. A tribute to R.N.Tagore: The success of the ‘Aaj o Aagami’ poster is a testament to Living Room Storiez’s design prowess. The poster was a masterpiece which is the profound legacy of the revered poet. Again it captured the event’s spirit and honored the figure. When it comes to creating something unique, we start inventing. Reflection of a NGO throughout the city: We have portrayed our ideas through a NGO name Bandhu Ek Asha. The posters have been displayed through the whole city of Kolkata. Also we have used visual elements with concise text that can simplify complicated concepts and make audience engage with them. The Concentrix Kolkata Carnival 2.0: Concentrix Kolkata Carnival 2.0 has been organized in Kolkata in 2018. Living Room Storiez has designed the event gate poster. We have made this poster looking catchy by adding iconic movie posters from Bollywood. Also we have given a crown shaped design on the top of the poster which attract people tremendously. Bengali Film Festival at Hyderabad: This event poster was designed using unusual font that represents the purpose of the event. Depending on the type of the event, we pick colors, symbol to use. So that professionalism can be shown through the poster. We include event information and any requirements for attendees in big and clear text. Singers chit-chat with songs: Singer Manoj Murali Nair teams up with actress Devlina Kumar to present ‘Likhan Tomar’. As the theme was music of this poster, we added vintage vibe using cloudy colors and shaping the font in an dramatical way. This poster shows the power of rhythms in a magical way and grab peoples attention. Remembering Rabindra Nath Tagore: This is an iconic event poster in which the theme is reflected with scattered placements. We used a color filter in vintage by simply drawing a colored square over the background image. Then, adjusted the opacity of the round until you can see the image come through.  Bengali’s Traditional Sweet Festival: While a striking poster is essential, it’s the substance behind it that ultimately determines a reader’s interest. This is a seasonal event poster organized at Rajdanga in 2020. We have used single bold color that can grab people’s attention quickly. Dance and music ensemble Prerna: As you can see in this impressive event poster example, a bold brown and blue are used for the title and date of the event. This live concert was held in Mumbai. We have tried to glorify the melodious vibe in this poster. On the other hand, this poster is being presented with some uniqueness to the audience. Lopamudra Mitra has her own charm in the singing world. Bengalis can feel the emotion through her voice. In every poster of Lopamudra Mitra, we put the Bengali vibe through which the audience can easily get connected with their culture and tradition. The iconic singer Kumar Sanu’s event poster has been designed by us. 90s kids can relate themselves to this Indian playback prolific singer from Bollywood. Stars we have worked with since 2014: Why We Are? Living Room Storiez has left its invisible watermark on every poster. We never add the same vibe or emotion to every poster. Everyone has their own charm to be reflected. So followed by that, we create posters using their catchy style and vibe on it. Also, we focus on colors that bring the activeness to participate in the concert. We use as dark as bright colors in posters. It depends on which performers we are designing the poster. Once we fix the color based on the mode of festive, we start working on the font. Font or calligraphy is also important to showcase the event’s identity. Fonts keep changing as the region and singers change. Overall every poster carries its own uniqueness. So that the audience can easily connect with their favorites. Instead of putting color and font, we put some unusual vibe or mood while creating seasonal posters. For example, singer Lopamudra Mitra went to a live concert in Mumbai in this Durga Puja. We made it in a festive way by adding the image of chandala, clipart on the poster. This emotion remains the same for others in the festive season.
